After cutting all the meat and using a saw to get leg bone segments for the gravy depth, this spice mix was second to none. A complete short cut for a stunning dish that all my friends finished. Best dish from BBS yet..!
I was really excited to try these and they did not disappoint! The butter chicken was delicious and easy to make. The spice mixes are just proper ground up spices (no rubbish or additives) so well worth the money. Really happy and will definitely be buying again.

I followed the recipeon the main website for individual cauliflower florets roasted in the oven having been marinated for a few hours in the most incredible mix including this sensational rub - they got absolutely demolished by my family as a side dish for the Keema curry - another gem of a product from this fantastic buisness that only delivers the best to its customers. The outcome is that the curries (3tried so far) are better than some curries I had in actual Indian restaurants.
Start to serving is less than an hour including prep and the recipe card is so easy to follow. 10/10. Looking forward to the next evening in curry

Oddly enough I used these two spice mixtures this afternoon, not with Lamb but with corn fed free range chicken breasts. With these I made a paste of fresh ginger and two large garlic cloves mixed with rapeseed oil.
This I spread over the chicken breasts and then sprinkled them with both of the spices above plus butter chicken spice mix. They were sat on a bed of finely sliced shallots and two green chillies. I added a small amount of water and roasted in the oven for 30 minutes before stirring in a small tin
of coconut cream. I'm not sure if Mrs Balbir singh will be in tears of shock at what I did with her traditional spices but, and here's the bit, it tasted delicious and was thoroughly enjoyed.
So, I can honestly say the spices used gave me a wonderful taste and aroma and was nothing like shop bought sauces.
I love cooking South Indian/ Sri Lankan food I usually roast and grind all the whole spices as a base. However your powder does away with this process and still produces lovely South Indian dishes. I added 2 dried chillies and 2 pieces of pandan leaf to achieve the flavour that I wanted.

Using these spices has saved me hours Of prep and time spent cooking without any loss of quality, In fact I actually prefer these rather than starting from scratch, the balance of flavours are just superb!
On my 3rd tin of this and can't praise it enough. Full of flavour and certainly gets the taste buds going.
I made the butter chicken and also the roasted caulifower (dum gobi) for friends on Sunday. Their response was "delicious", "fantastic" and "where did you get that recipe from?".

This has been my favourite so far! We’ve never had a takeaway since trying the spices bought for us at Christmas & we’ve just added a few other blends to try. The recipes are so easy to follow & it’s very satisfying knowing you have cooked something that tastes so good! For some we use a little less spice if it’s been too hot for us the first time.
